56-Year-Old Rodney Rice Injured In Cumberland, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, May 1 in Cumberland, Illinois. 56-year-old Rodney Rice was seriously injured in a two vehicle wreck that occurred on Interstate 70 near milepost 122. 19-year-old Ethan Angerami was traveling west, when for unknown reasons, his car left the roadway to the right, causing it to hit the rear of a truck tractor semi trailer parked on the shoulder. Rice was towing the vehicle struck. Angerami, and a passenger in his vehicle died at the scene. Rice was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation and  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
