56-Year-Old John Tracy Killed in Kimble County, TX Accident

Chain-reaction crash involving multiple vehicles on Interstate 10

A tragic accident occurred on January 24 in Kimble County, Texas, when 56-year-old John Robert Tracy of Lutz, Florida, was killed in a chain-reaction crash on Interstate 10 near milepost 470. Twelve eastbound vehicles were involved during icy road conditions. Tracy’s pickup was struck and crushed when a detached trailer landed on it. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
