56-Year-Old Adil Ahmed Killed In Red Bank, NJ Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 5th in Red Bank, New Jersey.  56-year-old Adil Ahmed was tragically killed in a two vehicle wreck on Route 35 near the intersection with Rector Place. Police said that two cars — a Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 SUV and a Ford F350 pickup truck — were involved in the crash. Adil Ahmed was driving the SUV that collided with the pickup truck  Ahmed suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident and  he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup, a 63-year-old Long Branch man, did not suffer serious injuries. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no charges were filed as of Sunday morning. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
