The crash happened around 11 p.m. near Magnolia and Pacific avenues, when a Dodge sedan, allegedly driven by 30-year-old James Anthony Deleon, struck Ngo’s van. The impact pushed both vehicles into a parked car. Ngo died at the scene, and another person was hospitalized. Deleon fled but was later arrested and booked for murder and DUI.
