55-Year-Old Hoanh Thanh Ngo Killed in Stanton, CA DUI Accident

Suspected drunk driver arrested after head-on crash

A tragic accident occurred on May 3 in Stanton, California, when 55-year-old Hoanh Thanh Ngo was killed in a head-on collision. The crash happened around 11 p.m. near Magnolia and Pacific avenues, when a Dodge sedan, allegedly driven by 30-year-old James Anthony Deleon, struck Ngo’s van. The impact pushed both vehicles into a parked car. Ngo died at the scene, and another person was hospitalized. Deleon fled but was later arrested and booked for murder and DUI.
