54-Year-Old Norman Sparrow Injured In Manchester, CT Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 28 in Manchester, Connecticut. 54-year-old Norman Sparrow was seriously injured when he was hit by a motor vehicle along Interstate 291. Sparrow parked a tow truck along the interstate, activated the vehicle's emergency lights, and exited the vehicle while wearing reflective apparel. While he was standing in the right lane a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta struck him. Norman sustained injuries to his back and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver was issued an infraction for failure to move over for emergency vehicles. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
