54-Year-Old Alesia Sidney Killed in Alto, TX Accident

Hit by alleged drunk driver on Highway 69

08- A tragic accident occurred on May 24 in Alto, Texas, when 54-year-old Alesia Sidney was killed in a crash involving an allegedly impaired driver. The collision happened around 10:55 p.m. on Highway 69 near FM 1911 when a 21-year-old driver ran a stop sign. Sidney, a Lufkin resident and SUV passenger, died at the scene. The suspect faces intoxication manslaughter charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
