53-Year-Old Jerry Torres Killed In Fresno, CA Accident

Bicycle accident on the 78 Freeway

Tragic accident that occured on Saturday, August 21st in Fresno, California. 53-year-old Jerry Eugene Torres was tragically killed when his bicycle was struck by a motorist on the 78 Freeway. According to a news release from the San Diego Medical Examiner's Office, a white Volvo struck Torres' bicycle at around 55-60 mph in the number one lane. Torres was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.  No information was released regarding the driver of the vehicle. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim
