53-Year-Old James Lee Dwyer Jr. Killed In San Angelo, TX Accident

Crash in the 3100 block of N. Chadbourne Street

Tragic accident that occurred on August 4 in San Angelo, Texas. 53-year-old James Lee Dwyer Jr., died after allegedly being hit by a Mercury Sable on the 3100 block of North Chadbourne Street. A Mercury Sable, allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed struck Dwyer, and was found abandoned in the same block. 19-year-old Andrea Mendoza was eventually located and arrested for collision involving death, a second-degree felony.  Dwyer was a huge NASCAR fan who enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He was described as a kind-hearted, giving person always first in line to help those in need. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
