52-Year-Old Stephanie Olson Wesley Killed In Morristown, MN Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, January 29th in Morristown, Minnesota. 52-year-old Stephanie Olson Wesley was hit and killed by an on-duty Rice County Sheriff’s sergeant. Preliminary info is that 46-year-old Sgt. Trevor Peterson was driving a vehicle east on Morristown Boulevard near Holland Avenue when he fatally struck the victim. The Sheriff’s office said Peterson was not responding to an emergency call at the time of the collision.  Wesley was in the road when she was struck, according to Minnesota State Patrol. The Minnesota State Patrol has opened an investigation into the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
