50-Year-Old Maria Lapuente Injured in Grimes County, TX Accident

Driver seriously hurt in crash on SH 6 that killed one

A tragic accident occurred on June 20 in Grimes County, Texas, when 50-year-old Maria Tellez-Lapuente was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash. Around 1:34 p.m., a Ford Explorer crossed the median on State Highway 6 near County Road 303 and struck her Volkswagen Taos. The Explorer’s driver died at the scene. Tellez-Lapuente was taken to Memorial Hermann in Houston. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
