50-Year-Old Enrique Gomez Torres Dies in Tyler, TX Accident

Hit-and-Run on State Highway 64 Near Big Oak Bay Road

A tragic accident occurred on June 25 in Smith County, Texas, when 50-year-old Enrique Gomez Torres was killed in a hit-and-run while riding his bicycle. Around the 1600 block of State Highway 64, east of Tyler, an unknown vehicle struck Torres. He was pronounced dead at the scene near Big Oak Bay Road. Authorities are investigating.
