50-Year-Old Donald Stauggard Injured In Ocean Park, WA Accident

Impaired driver causes crash on State Route 103

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, May 25  at around 6 PM in Ocean Park, Washington. 50-year-old Donald P. Staugaard was injured in a two vehicle crash on State Route 103. The victim was traveling in a Jeep Liberty operated by 37-year-old Amy Phelps. Phelps attempted a left hand turn, failing to yield the right of way and colliding with a Prius. The victim was transported to Ocean Beach Hospital for treatment. The Washington State Patrol reported that Phelps was impaired at the time of the crash and charged her with two counts of vehicular assault. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
