50-Year-Old Chauncey Walden Injured in Georgetown, TX Accident

Worker hurt after impaired driver crashes into utility crew

A tragic accident occurred on November 23 in Georgetown, TX, when 50-year-old Chauncey Walden was struck during a utility crew operation. Authorities said a Ford Escape driven by Alezander Cruz hit an Oncor truck on Kelley Drive, pushing it into another vehicle and injuring workers between the trucks. Walden was hospitalized with injuries. Cruz was arrested at the scene on charges including intoxication assault. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
