Two-vehicle accident on State Highway 349 leaves two dead and others injured

A tragic accident occurred on Feb. 19 in Martin County, when 50-year-old Carlos Tijerina was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 349. Authorities said an improper U-turn led to the collision, killing a 7-year-old boy and a 23-year-old driver. Two additional passengers were also injured. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
