49-Year-Old Salvador Vargas Killed In Bakersfield, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, April 24 at around 6:12 PM in Bakersfield, California. 49-year-old Salvador Alvarez Vargas was tragically killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in struck a support pillar on Golden State Ave. Wayne Stedman was the driver of the vehicle that was in the far right lane when, for unknown reasons, he drifted toward the middle lane and crashed into the pillar at a high rate of speed. Both men were tragically killed upon impact. The crash remains under investigation by the Kern County Sheriff's office. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
