48-Year-Old Sarah Doxey Killed in Spokane, WA Accident

Struck While Jogging Near East 49th and South Perry

A tragic accident occurred on July 16 in Spokane, Washington, when 48-year-old Sarah Doxey was fatally struck in a hit-and-run. Around 5:30 a.m., Doxey was jogging near East 49th Avenue and South Perry Street when a vehicle hit her. She died at the hospital. The 17-year-old driver fled but was later arrested and charged with DUI and felony hit-and-run. Authorities are investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
