48-Year-Old Jessica Portales Injured in Wharton County, TX Accident

Five-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 59 Near FM 1163

A tragic accident occurred on September 23 in Wharton County, Texas, when 48-year-old Jessica Portales of Corpus Christi was injured in a five-vehicle crash. Around 7:29 a.m., a Sheriff’s Office Ford F-150 struck her Chevrolet Silverado from behind, causing it to flip and collide with another car. Portales was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital for advanced treatment. A deputy was also injured. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims.
