47-Year-Old Timothy Wright Killed In Irmo, SC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 26th in Irmo, South Carolina.  47-year-old Timothy Wright was tragically killed after being hit by two motorists while he was pushing a moped on Kennerly Road. Wright’s moped broke down and as he approached the intersection with Owens Lowman Road, he was hit by a 2011 Kia Sorento heading in the same direction. The impact threw Wright into oncoming traffic, where a second collision occurred. Wright was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
