47-Year-Old Russell Lance Scott Arrested In Jonesboro, AR Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 16 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. 47-year-old Russell Lance Scott was arrested after allegedly hitting a motorcyclist near the intersection of Red Wolf Boulevard and King Street. Scott stopped at a red light before making a right turn onto Red Wolf Boulevard. As the vehicle moved into the inside lane, it struck a northbound motorcycle, causing the rider to be thrown into a southbound car. Scott then fled the scene, continuing to travel north. The injured motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was airlifted to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis for treatment.  Scott was later arrested for committing a felony hit-and-run.
