45-Year-Old Oscar Garcia Killed In Stanislaus, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 28th in Stanislaus, California. 45-year-old Oscar Garcia lost his life when his car was hit by an SUV in a failed pass attempt along West Main Street. Investigators said a westbound Subaru SUV, driven by 36-year-old Abraham Fariasentered the eastbound lane of West Main Street, near Carpenter Road, as it tried to pass traffic. The SUV collided with Garcia's Honda sedan. The Subaru overturned and caught fire. The victim was killed in the crash. It is unclear whether drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the crash, CHP said.
