Struck by vehicle on Interstate 35; victim pronounced dead at scene

A tragic accident occurred on February 10 in Austin, Texas, when 45-year-old David Rodriguez was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the 10400 block of Interstate 35 southbound just before 4 a.m. The driver remained at the scene, was not impaired, and cooperated with investigators. Authorities continue to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
