Man dies after being struck on N. Quaker Avenue near Princeton Street

A tragic accident occurred on May 16 in Lubbock, Texas, when 44-year-old Lonnie Lonjino Jr. Morin III was struck by an SUV while walking in the main lanes of N. Quaker Avenue near Princeton Street. Authorities said he suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV driver remained at the location and cooperated with investigators. The investigation is ongoing.
