44-Year-Old Eileen Habesland Killed In Montgomery, NY Accident

Multi vehicle accident on Route 17K

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, December 15th in Montgomery, New York. 44-year-old Eileen Habesland was tragically killed in a crash with a driver that fell asleep at the wheel on Route 17K near Winding Hills. According to the Montgomery Police Department, the victim was driving when she was hit by a vehicle 20-year-old Bernnon Hernandez. Authorities said that Hernandez fell asleep and his car crossed over the double yellow line, striking Habesland’s vehicle. Hernandez was issued a summons for crossing a double yellow line.
