43-Year-Old Tony Boswell Killed In Cherokee, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on January 23rd in Cherokee, Texas. 43-year-old Tony Boswell was tragically struck and killed by a Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Deputy while walking in the 3000 block of Farm-to-Market 346. Boswell was rushed to UT Health where he was tragically pronounced dead. The deputy has been placed on administrative leave until an internal investigation can be conducted.  No foul play is suspected, but the Texas Department of Public Safety  has been called in to handle the investigation.
