43-Year-Old Maria Maradiaga Killed in Orange, TX Accident

A tragic accident occurred on June 20 in Orange, Texas, when 43-year-old Maria Maradiaga was fatally struck by a pickup truck in a gas station parking lot. The incident happened around 7:06 a.m. at the Chevron on Interstate 10 near Highway 62. Maradiaga, a Greyhound bus passenger, had exited the bus and was outside smoking when the truck suddenly accelerated and hit her. She died at the scene.
