Hoffman was operating his Dodge Caravan when a Cadillac crossed the centerline and hit his van, which left the roadway and rolled. The driver of the Cadillac got a ride from another vehicle and fled the scene. Hoffman and his passenger were transported to Quincy Valley Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. The WSP is actively pursuing the hit-and-run driver.
