A tragic accident occurred on June 17 in Sun Valley, California, when 43-year-old Erik Florer was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver. The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Laurel Canyon and Roscoe boulevards. Florer died at the scene. The suspect fled and remains unidentified.
