42-Year-Old Richard Salazar Injured In Lubbock, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, April 11th in Lubbock, Texas. 42-year-old Richard Salazar is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while working on his disabled vehicle on Interstate 27.  Mr. Salazar had pulled to the shoulder of the highway due to a flat tire. The victim was walking on the shoulder of the 34th Street exit ramp when he was struck by a pickup. Mr. Salazar was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center and has been reported to be in critical condition. The crash remains under investigation.
