Tragic accident that occurred on March 3 in Coney Island, New York. 41-year-old Tamika Richards was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident on West 24th Street near Mermaid Avenue. Richards was walking in a crosswalk when she was struck by a red pickup truck and transported to a hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The driver left the scene westbound on Mermaid Avenue.
