Driver Fled Scene After Crashing Into Golf Cart on Memorial Day

A tragic accident occurred on May 26 in Canyon Lake, California, when 41-year-old Misty Farrand allegedly struck a golf cart with her black Kia SUV and fled the scene. The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. at Canyon Lake Drive and Gray Fox Drive, injuring two women. Farrand was later arrested and booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run, then released the same day after posting bail. Anyone with information is urged to call 951-245-3300.
