41-Year-Old James Davis III Killed in Terrell, TX Train Accident

A tragic accident occurred on September 17 in Terrell, Texas, when 41-year-old James Earl Davis III was struck and killed by a train. The crash happened around 5:19 a.m. in the 100 block of South Virginia Street. Davis, a Terrell resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Several nearby railroad crossings were closed during the investigation. Authorities continue to work with Union Pacific Railroad. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
