A tragic accident occurred on January 7 near Beaumont, Texas, when 40-year-old Nicholas Weaver was struck and killed by a train on the railroad tracks off Old Sour Lake Road near Meeker around 10:10 p.m. He died from multiple blunt force trauma. Authorities continue investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
