40-Year-Old Marvin Boomer Killed in Oakland, CA Accident

Pedestrian Struck During Stolen Vehicle Pursuit

A tragic accident occurred on May 28 in Oakland, California, when 40-year-old Marvin Boomer was killed after being struck by a stolen Infiniti G35 involved in a police pursuit. The driver, 18-year-old Eric Hernandez Garcia, lost control and hit two pedestrians on the sidewalk near 12th Avenue. Boomer died at the scene, while a woman in her 40s was hospitalized. Garcia was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
