A tragic accident occurred on April 1 in Austin, Texas, when 40-year-old Mario Garcia Gonzalez was struck and killed by a vehicle at the intersection of N. Lamar Boulevard and Rutland Drive. The driver fled the scene and did not render aid. Authorities continue investigating. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Austin Police Department tip line or the Vehicular Homicide Unit.
