40-Year-Old David Cheatham Killed In Houston, TX Accident

Suspected DUI crash on Beltway 8

Tragic accident that occurred on saturday, March 20 at around 1:30 AM in Houston, Texas. 40-year-old David Cheatham was tragically killed when his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on Beltway eight. A Mazda crossed several lanes of traffic while attempting to turn into a driveway. The Mazda then struck the motorcycle causing the bike to hit a curbstone and crash into a utility pole. Sadly, the victim died at the scene. The driver of the Mazda was arrested after the crash for what deputies believed to be intoxication.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
