Tragic accident that occurred on October 31 in Birmingham, Alabama. Four-year-old Steven Allen Jr. was critically injured by a hit-and-run driver while they crossed the street and were struck by a speeding vehicle. The driver fled after the collision. 4-year-old Steven Allen, Jr. sustained serious injuries including a punctured liver and kidney, rib and spine damage and damage to his brain. Police described the suspect vehicle as a dark-colored 2009 to 2012 Audi A-3 with a damaged rear view passenger mirror. Witnesses or those with information are urged to call Birmingham police.
