39-Year-Old Jose Rivas Killed In Refugio, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on July 16 in Refugio, Texas. 39-year-old Jose Rivas was killed in a motor vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 77. A  GMC and a Chevy truck were both heading South when the GMC driver rear-ended the Chevy, pushing it into a median where the vehicle rolled over and caught fire. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
