39-Year-Old Andrew Rodriguez Killed in Santa Ana, CA Accident

Cyclist struck by alleged DUI driver

A tragic accident occurred on August 27 in Santa Ana, California, when 39-year-old Andrew Rodriguez of Wilmington was struck and killed while riding his bicycle. The incident happened around 11:35 p.m. as Rodriguez crossed Grand Avenue at Fairhaven Avenue. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, identified as 26-year-old Vanessa Anahi Picenavalos, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
