38-Year-Old Sanquenetta Simmons Injured In Carrollton, GA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 22nd in Carrollton, Georgia. 38-year-old Sanquenetta Simmons suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on the Route 166 bypass at Maple Street. A 16-year-old driver in a Dodge Journey was eastbound and failed to obey a traffic control device, resulting in a collision. Simmons was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries. Sadly, her passenger died in the accident. No further information is available at this time. The case remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
