Passenger Dies in Crash Near I-27

A tragic accident occurred on August 22 in Lubbock, Texas, when 36-year-old David Ramirez was killed in a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of the Marsha Sharp Freeway and Interstate 27. The crash happened around 11:43 p.m. when a passenger car collided with a tractor-trailer. Ramirez, a passenger in the car, died at University Medical Center. Three others sustained minor injuries.
