DPS troopers said that a 2018 Mercedes-Benz 300, driven by 47-year-old Noah Salcido,was northbound and failed to yield for a stop sign at the intersection. The Mercedes entered the eastbound lanes and was hit by a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. Morris died at the scene, authorities said.
