35-Year-Old Meagan Martin Killed in Jasper County, TX Accident

Three-vehicle collision on State Highway 62 claims two lives

A tragic accident occurred on March 6 in Jasper County, Texas, when 35-year-old Meagan Martin of Groves was killed in a three-vehicle crash on State Highway 62 near the Jasper-Newton County line around 8 p.m. Authorities said a Dodge pickup entered oncoming traffic and struck her Chevrolet pickup. One of the other victims, her 13-year-old daughter Serenity Rivera, later died at a hospital. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims’ families.
