35-Year-Old Marcos Ramirez-Ramirez Arrested in Amarillo, TX Accident

DWI Crash on Southeast 10th Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on December 4 in Amarillo, Texas, when 35-year-old Marcos Ramirez-Ramirez drove a Ford F-150 eastbound in the westbound lanes of Southeast 10th Avenue and struck a Chevrolet Lumina. Four occupants were rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, and one passenger later died. Ramirez-Ramirez fled on foot but was arrested shortly after. Police say alcohol was a factor. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
