35-Year-Old Joseph Katigbak Killed in Austin, TX Accident

Collision occurred in downtown Austin

A tragic accident occurred on December 24 in Austin, Texas, when 35-year-old Joseph Capulong Katigbak was struck by a vehicle while walking downtown. Police said the collision happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of West Cesar Chavez Street and Walter Seaholm Drive. Katigbak was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries on Christmas morning. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
