35-Year-Old Jose Portillo Hernandez Killed in Reseda, CA Accident

Victim struck by fleeing SUV on Victory Boulevard

A tragic accident occurred on August 22 in Reseda, California, when 35-year-old Jose Portillo Hernandez was killed in a hit-and-run on Victory Boulevard. Authorities reported that Hernandez exited his parked vehicle near Belmar Avenue around 8 p.m. when a black SUV veered right and struck him before fleeing the scene. Sadly, Hernandez died at the location. Anyone with information is urged to contact LAPD Valley Traffic Division at 818-644-8036. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
