35-Year-Old Jose Dias Killed In Guilford, CT AccidentThe crash remains under investigationPosted: 2 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on January 16th in Guilford, Connecticut. 35-year-old Jose Dias was tragically killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 95 in the northbound lanes between exits 56-57. Preliminary information shows the driver of a vehicle was driving the wrong way on the highway. The vehicle collided head-on with a car driven by Dias. Following the impact, both motorists came to a rest in the left travel lane, police said. Dias' was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he tragically later died .The tragic accident remains an active investigation, and any witnesses are asked to call Trooper Green at 860-399-2150.
