34-Year-Old Nicholas Strum Killed In Williamson, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 25th in Williamson, Illinois. 34-year-old Nicholas Strum was tragically killed when his pickup truck was hit by an 18-wheeler that allegedly failed to yield to the vehicle on Route 37. According to the Illinois State Police the rig was stopped at a stop sign, then turned left onto Illinois Route 148 and failed to yield to the pickup. As a result, the front end of the Ford struck the driver’s side of the semi-trailer. Sadly, Strum was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
