34-Year-Old Anthony Martinez Killed in Bakersfield, CA Accident

Martinez Struck by Two Vehicles While Crossing Street

A tragic accident occurred on May 9 in Bakersfield, California, when 34-year-old Anthony Gregory Martinez was struck and killed by two vehicles. Around 8:53 p.m., Martinez was crossing the 700 block of East California Avenue when he was hit by an eastbound car, then struck again by another passing vehicle. He died from his injuries. The first driver was arrested for DUI. Authorities are investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
