33-Year-Old Philip Webb Arrested in Carlsbad, CA Accident

Collision at La Costa Avenue and Piraeus Street

A tragic accident occurred on August 9 in Carlsbad, California, when 33-year-old Philip Webb crashed his Subaru into a Nissan pickup at La Costa Avenue and Piraeus Street around 5:20 a.m. The Nissan driver was rushed to a hospital, where they died from their injuries. Webb was arrested for DUI causing injury or death and vehicular manslaughter. Authorities are investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
