32-Year-Old Joan Forgas Killed In Shelton, CT Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 18 in Shelton, Connecticut.  32-year-old Joan Forgas lost her life along Route 8 when she stopped along the shoulder, stepped out of the Jeep and was struck by a BMW. Forgas sustained critical injuries and was sadly declared deceased at the site of the crash. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information related to it is urged to contact Trooper McCue at 203-393-4200 or daniel.mccue@ct.gov.
